Easily share files externally or downstream

We have extensive experience in designing interfaces to external systems, including the General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) for exporting data in a universally compliant format, TransXChange (TXC) for the UK, VDV for Europe, and TODIS for Australia.

Our GTFS Exporter streamlines the transfer of service schedules and associated geographic information to customer-facing digital platforms, such as journey planners and real-time information displays.

Converts OmniBASE schedules information combined with OmniTIMES timetable trips into the GTFS format. It reduces the size of exported data by identifying journey patterns that can be referenced by multiple journeys.

Performs validation checks on the source data to pinpoint any data issues prior to producing a GTFS file.

Generates a GTFS output that provides the data necessary for your audio-visual onboard announcement system. This means you can generate a list of unique trip patterns essential for configuring a talking bus installation, in addition to producing a standard GTFS export.

Our GTFS Exporter ensures:

  • Regulatory compliance: Operators meet accessibility regulations and enhance service inclusivity.
  • Efficiency: Reduces manual effort and minimises errors associated with manual data handling.
  • Cost-effective: Provides a cost-effective solution by minimising the need for bespoke development work and reducing operational disruptions.
  • User-friendly: Easy to implement and use, requiring minimal training for staff, which accelerates the adoption process.
  • It is crucial for Tower Transit to stay ahead in the evolving landscape of passenger transport. The GTFS Exporter will ensure Tower Transit can easily and accurately get fixed route service information into the hands of customers using our LibertyBus (Jersey) and buses.gg (Guernsey) brands in the Channel Islands.
